WHAT WE PROVIDE IS UNIQUE AND VALUABLE FOR THE PITCHER, PARENTS AND COACHES
Get your kids on the right path with correct mechanics and information that will keep them healthy as they grow and mature through their baseball lifetime. These days, too many pitchers get injured thus limiting their opportunity to continue playing. Many times the desire to win has superseded what is best for an athlete’s development and future potential. This combined with general misinformation about what is good, better, or best for the development of pitchers has seriously impaired or injured pitchers beyond rehabilitation. We’ve brought together the best advisory team to help us learn more about how and when to pitch. Through scientific research we are continually updating the basics of pitching, and passing on that knowledge to pitchers, coaches and parents so that we can bring out the best in each and every player.
AT NPA WEST WE FOCUS ON THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF PITCHERS
To be a successful pitcher at any level of the game requires you to be in top physical condition, mentally tough, and emotionally calm. Balancing the physical and mental demands of this position is the hardest part of being a pitcher. That’s why we focus heavily on:
- * The mechanics of pitching
- * Strength and conditioning techniques that enhance skills and reduce the incidence of injuries
- * Nutritional necessities so that athletes stay healthy
- * Mental and emotional practices that build confidence and reinforce players’ love of baseball
- * Developing strong relationships between players, parents and coaches so that they have the support they need
WHAT TO BRING
Cleats, glove, water, and wear workout gear (shorts, athletic t-shirt, gym shoes)
Are you ready to take your pitching to the next level?
The MLB’s best, the top college players and the most promising high school athletes work with us to improve their skills, their mental approach and stay injury-free. Our clinics are the BEST way for you to get even better than you are now!
I just want to take a moment to thank all of you for such a wonderful event that Tom attended in Costa Mesa. I was very impressed with all of the information that was shared and demonstrated during the weekend. I really felt that the information was presented in a very adult like manner and the format presented challenged the boys not only mentally but physically too. I can honestly say that Tom has pitched in 3 games since and will pitch his 4th tomorrow and has really shown a dramatic improvement. His pitching fundamentals have improved and more pitches are strikes or very close to the zone. He has also struck out a minimum of between 6-9 batters within 4-6 innings pitched. He also gets up in the morning better for school, shows a desire and demonstrates better eating habits and is doing the exercises and drills that you taught to put his body back into shape after pitching. He has really shown tremendous improvement with all areas of his life and I feel that your program was presented in a very adult like way that didn’t talk down to these kids but challenged them to think and consider what is really going to help them get to the next level whatever that may be for each of them. I am so pleased to have spent the time with you all, I learned a bunch myself and at times had to think a bit to realize what was being presented myself. A very well rounded program that is so worth the money and time I can’t say enough. Look forward to re-visiting again!
